Our traditional Salzburg cuisine is inspired by nature and is always a very special treat, even for the most discerning palate. We take great care to choose fine produce for both the kitchen and the cellar. Head Chef Sebastian Böhning is committed to using only the very best products, where possible from local farms. True to his motto "health-consciously creative" he buys meat and vegetables from the region, dairy products and organic grains from local farms and fresh herbs from his own garden. Cooking with care helps to retain important vitamins and minerals. You can truly taste the difference!
At the Garden Hotel Sonnleitn you will be introduced to the overwhelming diversity of Austrian cuisine. The focus lies on traditional dishes based on recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. Head Chef Sebastian takes your special dietary needs and wishes into consideration and in particular offers special meals for diabetics or guests requiring a gluten-free, low-salt, low-purine or lactose-free diet. Every Friday you are also given the chance to visit him in the kitchen to take a look inside his cooking pots in order to put together your own meal!
